How To Reach
There are two route to reach the fort. As the fort is situated well in remote place so it is advisable to know the timetable of ST buses that ply from Nashik to Satane & Nashik to Chandvad & Chandvad to Satane.
1. On Nashik-Satane road (via Kheldari), get down at Kheldari village & reach to Rajdeherwadi. From Rajdeherwadi you need to cross a small lake towards Indrai fort where you can find small colony. The route starts here. Turn to left and after some twist and turn your will come below the knoll of left side of the fort. Here Turn to right keeping the knoll to your right, keep walking. After some time you will find a small Maruti temple, turn right and keep asending, futher you get steps carved in rock. Climbing these steps you will reach to the top.
2. Reach to Chandwad from Nashik. Ahead of Chandwad proceed to Mumbai-Agra road, keeping the fort of Chandwad on your right. The road goes westwards and bifurcates at Vadbare. It continues to Rajdeherwadi via Riodebri and Chinchbari. Ahead of Chinchbari you will see the Indrai at your left. Keep looking for the dirt trak which connects you to the Maruti temple, advised in the fisrt route. From Vadbare, an open walk and some steep climbing takes you to the well fortified entrance of the fort.

Place To Stay / Eat

Water availability : Ample supply of water till the end of February. Food : Food arrangements have to be made by the trekkers themselves. Shelter : Caves are available on the top.

Places Of Interest

Near the entrance of the fort you will find nine lines of inscription written in Farsi language. After entering the fort you will find large platue. Keep walking to the west side of the fort for 10-15 mins. Ahead to your left there is samll hillock to the north of which (i.e. to the Rajdeher fort side) you will find some carved caves and water tanks.
